Three Little Birds in a Row
Three little birds in a row
Sat musing.
A man passed near that place.
Then did the little birds nudge each other.

They said, "He thinks he can sing."
They threw back their heads to laugh.
With quaint countenances
They regarded him.
They were very curious,
Those three little birds in a row.

I like this poem because it's about how the three birds saw a man and started laughing at him because they thought he couldn't sing. It relates to my life because it's saying that we shouldn't judge people just by our first impression. Some people may seem different, but once we get to know them, we learn that they're actually not what we thought. I know I'm not supposed to be judgemental and criticize people, but I do sometimes. It's like the saying, "don't judge a book by its cover." Everyone does it even though we all know it's wrong. It's not good because it can be very hurtful to people.
